EMT Program – Payson Campus

Payson Campus offers a flexible Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program designed to meet the needs of students with varying career goals. New cohorts begin each Fall semester, with two program options:

  • Accelerated Track: Students seeking immediate job placement can complete the basic EMT course and associated lab in just one semester.

  • Certificate Track: For those pursuing a full certificate, the program can be completed in three semesters.

Upon successful completion of EMT 103 and EMT 103L, students become eligible to take the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) Examination, provided they are 18 years or older at the time of testing. A passing score qualifies students to apply for EMT licensure in Arizona.
